• FCL (Full Container Load):

In this service, 20 ft & 40 ft containers are mostly used for shipping household goods items. If you reside in a 1-2 bedroom house then a 20 ft container is the best option to go with whereas the 40 ft container can usually accommodate a 3-5 bedroom house if required.

Your goods will be loaded into a steel shipping container which will be exclusively for your use only. Depending on the access to your home, the container can be directly loaded at your residence to avoid any additional handling. The other key advantage of using FCL containers is that we're able to select and confirm specific shipping dates to assist you with your planning.

• LCL (Less than Container Load):

LCL is a good alternative if you don't have enough items to fill an FCL container and are flexible for the transit time quoted. This is a great way to save you on shipping costs. The biggest advantage of using this service is the shipping costs as you only pay for the portion of the container that your items take up.

 

Road Transportation of Household Goods:

If you're packing boxes, make sure you label the top and sides of boxes as you go with a list of contents or location of contents in your house and if there are any special instructions, such as "Fragile". Also, make an inventory list for each box in case of lost or broken items.

Ensure that you are not packing boxes too heavy as they can break open or too light as they can crush as they are loaded into the truck. Use small boxes for heavier items and large boxes for lighter items.

• These cartons come in various sizes as mattress cartons. Recommended use for shipping items such as: pictures, mirrors or small glass table tops.
• • Mattress Carton
• Cartons for mattresses come in different bed sizes. Standard sizes are crib, twin, queen and king.
• • Clothing
• We recommend the use of wardrobe cartons to hang all your clothes. If wardrobe cartons are not used, each garment should be removed from the hanger, folded and placed in a carton lined with clean paper. Some lightweight garments may be left in drawers.
• • Books
• Books are heavy and the right way to pack them is by using small sturdy cartons. Pack on edge, alternating bound edge to open edge.
• • Appliances

• • Silverware
• Pack all silverware pieces individually using clean tissue paper.
• • China & Glassware
• Place plenty of cushioning material on the bottom of the carton. Wrap and pack each piece of plates and dishes individually using single sheets of paper/newsprint and bubble wrap. Place them vertically in a dish pack carton.Wrap and pack smaller plates and bowls in a similar way. Leave no unfilled spaces
